FULL STOP STATIONARY

FULL STOP STATIONARY is a small, growing stationery retail and distribution business that was started to make essential stationery products easily accessible and affordable to students. For about one year, the business has supplied students with notebooks, pens, hardcovers, pencils, files and rulers.

The business started with approximately MK280,000 in working capital and has generated about MK150,000 in profit. This experience has demonstrated that there is a real market for affordable and accessible stationery among students.

The next stage is to grow FULL STOP STATIONARY from a small campus-based business into a wider stationery supply and distribution business serving students and institutions across Malawi. With increased capital, the business plans to purchase stationery in larger quantities from suppliers outside Malawi, where competitive bulk prices and better-quality products may be available, and distribute the products locally at affordable prices.

The long-term vision is to build a reliable stationery supply network connecting universities and other educational institutions across Malawi while creating income opportunities for young people and making essential learning materials more accessible.
