This and These

This and These is an agriprenuership enterprise involved in value addition initiatives. The enterprise originally from Kasungu, grabs the opportunity of the low industrial levels in agri products, storage facilities for seasonal crops and the abundancy of some agricultural products produced by local farmers as well as the high cost of access to affordable healthy and nutritious foods and snacks. Our products include dry vegetables(chafutsa) and locally made crisps made from plantains, irish potatoes, sweet potatoes and cassava.

This and These started in 2023. We started producing crisps made from Irish potatoes. In 2025, we grew from selling crisp at one liquor shop to having a sells lady to hawk our product and drop points; individual groceries, liqour shops, and door to door deliveries. we also saw potential in dry vegetables thus engaging women in rural areas to gather local vegetables(nkhwani, khwanya, chidede..) so we can deliver in towns. The market however just like any other business has competitors as such, we are working on our packaging and also production of different flavors for a wider and competitive market. We are based in Kasungu Kasalika, TA Kaomba.
